GTS Voice

1. BASIC TECHNICAL SOLUTION

The GTS Telecom Voice service is designed for origination and termination ofvoice traffic and consists of the following physical elements:

  • National and international access in the GTS voice network though localcircuit
  • Voice Port in GTS Telecom switch
  • Local digital connection
  • Modem in Customer Premises [CPE]


The GTS Telecom voice network is a telephone network based on the TDMtechnology (Time Division Multiplexing) The traffic is transported uncompressed,on 64kbit/sec dedicated circuits under the best quality conditions.

In order to use the GTS Telecom Voice service, the client must have atelephone exchange (PBX) which can support the ISDN-PRI protocol or FXS trunksplus at least one free ISDN – PRI (G.703) or FXS interface within thisexchange.

The used Customer Premises Equipment to deploy theservice depends on the type of the local connection.

2. STANDARD FEATURES

The client can use the contracted access capability up to 100% of the time,at any given moment.

The GTS Voice service is accessible 24 / 365 days, with a Service LevelAgreement of at least 99.5% monthly (excluding the scheduled interruptions formaintenance).

  • Hunting service (lines number is limited only by equipment)
  • CLIR (caller identification)
  • Detailed invoicing
  • Charges are per second in the international traffic (after the firstminute)


3. SERVICES CLASS 5


Class 5 services are associated with GTS Voice telephony service.
Service Configuratiion will be done directly by the customer according tothe indications in the Configuration Manual.
